TERMS & CONDITIONS

The quiz is organized by Indira IVF Hospital Pvt Ltd, (hereinafter referred to as "IIHPL") in association with INTAS pharma.

The participant should read this agreement carefully before entry to ensure that he/she understands and agrees because these rules form a legally binding agreement concerning this quiz.

Eligibility;
  1. Any final year post-graduate student pursuing MD/MS/DNB/DGO in the OBGY department in any PG teaching institute across India.
  2. Any candidate who has recently passed out their MD/MS/DNB/DGO studies and working as a senior resident in any medical college across India.
  3. Each candidate has to produce proof of their candidature (studentship/resident ship certificate from a competent authority) on selection after the Level I quiz. Failing to produce the same may lead to disqualify their candidature.
  4. Each candidate must register in the portal through the link provided before the event.

Quiz competition: (Process)

Three levels of competition will be there.
Level I & level II(online), Level III ( Onsite @ Udaipur)

Level I quiz;

  1. The quiz will consist of 75 questions for the participants to answer.
  2. All question will be of MCQ type.
  3. This will cover basic gynaecology and obstetrics not limiting to infertility only.
  4. You have to choose one single best answer out of four.( please follow the PDF attached to have a clear idea.
  5. There will be specific time allotted for each question to answer.
  6. You have to answer the question within that specific timing slot. After the specified time the question will be skipped automatically.
  7. If you don't want to answer that question you can skip that question.
  8. There is no option to review the skipped questions.
  9. If there is any conflict in he answer, the answer chosen by the quiz master will be final.
Scoring system
  1. Each right response scores 4 marks, and each wrong response will lead to a negative score of (-1)
Tie-breaker
  1. If two-person score the same scores, then those who score fewer negative marks will be considered as the winner.
  2. If there is a tie after the above clause, then who did the final submission first will be declared the winner.
  3. If there is a tie after the second clause, then the older person by age will be declared the winner among the two.

Selection of winners: To be eligible for the rewards, a participant must register for the quiz and complete the quiz within the provided time.

All further communication will happen through the registered mail id.

Declaration of results

Result will be available on the website within ten days of the Quiz and will be communicated to the registered mail ID as well.

Prize details: (after completion of 3 levels of quiz)

    National topper;
     Four-month fellowship at IIHPL * + Gift coupon worth rupees 1 lakh
    1st Runners-up;
     Four-month fellowship at IIHPL * + Gift coupon worth rupees 75000
    2nd runners up;
     Four-month fellowship at IIHPL * + Gift coupon worth rupees 50000

    Consolation prizes ;

  1. Rest all national-level participants; four-month institutional fellowship at IIHPL Udaipur + surprise gift.
  2. state toppers (one from each state ); 1-month observership at IIHPL hospital in respective states.
  • * Valid for 2 years (Any candidate who gets selected for fellowship can avail the same within 2 years from declaration of the final result. The centre for the fellowship will be allotted on first-cum-first serve basis and the available vacancy at that particular point.)
  • ** All national-level participants and state toppers will be offered recruitment opportunities at the IIHPL hospital as senior consultants subject to the willingness of candidates and the available vacancy positions.
  • *** All travel, lodging and boarding expenses to attain the physical quiz (scheduled at Udaipur, Rajasthan) will be borne by the organizers.

Conditions for the distribution of prizes to winners
    There is no cash alternative and the prizes must be taken as offered.
    If any winner is not able for whatever reason to accept his/her prize then Organisers reserves the right to award the prize to another winner.
    Any prize(s) that remain unclaimed at the end of 30 days from the announcement of the final results will become cancelled.
    Organisers do not assume any responsibility for any products and services offered as a prize under the quiz.
    Under no circumstances shall the inclusion of any product or service in the quiz be construed as an endorsement or recommendation of such product or service by Organisers. Except for warranties and conditions implied by law which cannot be excluded,
    Organisers makes no representations or warranties, express or implied, regarding the quality or suitability of any prizes awarded under these rules.

General conditions:
    The intended participant of this quiz understands that this is a knowledge sharing, awareness spreading activity in the field of IVF and gynaecology. Organisers do not intent to create any legal right or responsibility by conducting this quiz. The offer to admit a successful candidate to the fellowship program can be altered or even withdrawn by Organisers without any notice to that effect. However, once the fellowship program agreement is entered into between any successful candidate and IIHPL, it will be governed by the terms and conditions thereof.

Privacy:
    Participants agree that personal data submitted with an entry, including name, mailing address, phone number, and email address, may be collected, processed, stored and otherwise used by Organisers, its affiliates and the consultants for the purposes of conducting and administering the quiz.
   By entering the quiz, participants agree to the transmission, processing, disclosing and storage of this personal data by Organisers, their affiliates and the consultants.

Publicity:
    By entering the competition, the participants & attendees permit themselves to be photographed/ recorded by electronic, online and print media for telecast, publications & contacted by their given email ids and other display usages of Organisers.
    Organisers may also collect any information, photograph, video clip etc. From the participant for publication or sharing for the promotional requirement of Organisers.

Elimination:
    Any false information provided within the context of the quiz by the participant concerning identity, mailing address, telephone number, email address, ownership of right or non-compliance with these Rules or the like may result in the immediate elimination of the participant from the quiz.
    Organisers reserves the right to disqualify any participant from the quiz if, Organisers reasonably believes that the participant has attempted to undermine the legitimate operation of the quiz by cheating, deception, or other unfair playing practices or annoys, abuses, threatens or harasses any other participants
    Internet and disclaimer: Organisers and their consultant are not responsible for any malfunction of the entire quiz site or any late, lost, damaged, misdirected, incomplete, illegible, undeliverable answers to system errors, failed, incomplete or garbled computer or other telecommunication transmission malfunctions, network connectivity problems, hardware or software failures of any kind.

Right to cancel, modify or disqualify:
If for any reason the quiz is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of the quiz, Organisers reserves the right at its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the quiz.
Organisers further reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who tampers with the submission process or any other part of the quiz or quiz site.
Forum and recourse to judicial procedures:
    This quiz is governed by the laws of India, and only the courts of Udaipur will have exclusive jurisdiction to try any dispute arising from this quiz.
    By participating in this quiz, you agree to be bound by the terms of these rules and by Organisers' decisions, which are final and binding on all matters pertaining to this quiz.     If any provision(s) of these rules is held to be invalid or unenforceable, all remaining provisions hereof will remain in full force and effect, to the extent permitted by law, the rights to litigate, seek injunctive relief or make any other recourse to judicial or any other procedure in case of disputes or claims resulting from or in connection with this quiz are hereby excluded, and participants expressly waive any such rights.
